Principal Network Operations Engineer

Overview

Principal Network Operations Engineer responsible for supporting Intralinks’s network infrastructure and ensuring ongoing service operation within agreed service levels.

What you'll do

• Monitor and manage platforms to meet internal SLAs, operational KPIs, and quality standards.
• Act as first responder and help organize incident response.
• Handle complex technical support issues and support network faults to conclusion in a multi-vendor environment.
• Implement technical operations including network/firewall troubleshooting, scripting changes, and infrastructure/firmware updates.
• Work with IT teams, vendors, and service providers to resolve incidents and service requests.
• Maintain troubleshooting records in ticketing systems and write technical SOPs and documentation.

What you'll need

• Extensive experience in a fast-paced enterprise NOC role with minimum 2nd or 3rd line experience.
• Support experience of LAN & WAN technologies including BGP, TCP/IP, and Layer 2 architectures.
• Exposure to firewalls and load balancing, including security posture (firewalling, ACLs) and Internet architectures.
• Knowledge of load balancing tools including F5 LB, VE, LTM, APM.
• Understanding of VPN protocols SSL and IPSec.
• Understanding/experience with ISO and ITIL standards.
