Job description
Overview
The NOC Engineer provides advanced troubleshooting and resolution for escalated incidents, applying fixes or workarounds to restore services within SLA.
What you'll do
- Investigate and resolve incidents escalated by Level 1.
- Perform diagnostics using logs, configurations, and scripts.
- Apply fixes or temporary workarounds to restore services.
- Escalate critical or widespread issues to the Incident Manager.
- Collaborate with application, network, and infrastructure teams during major incidents.
- Document troubleshooting steps and resolution details.
- Improve knowledge base content and standard operating procedures.
What you'll need
- 3–6 years of experience in NOC or IT operations.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and cloud computing.
- Experience with monitoring and ITSM tools.
- Basic scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science.
