Overview
Lead product strategy and roadmap for Circle’s CPN Payments Engine, the core infrastructure powering payments creation, routing, settlement, and lifecycle management.
What you'll do
- Own long-term product vision and roadmap for payment creation, processing, routing, and settlement.
- Drive improvements in payment success rates, latency, resilience, and processing efficiency using data.
- Define direction for OFI Payments APIs and BFI quoting and settlement protocols.
- Identify and lead investments to expand payment use cases, corridors, rails, and partner capabilities.
- Define product capabilities for monitoring, alerting, exception management, and operational tooling.
- Lead cross-functional product decisions with Engineering, Compliance, Operations, and commercial teams.
- Develop frameworks, metrics, and product practices and mentor other product managers for payment infrastructure.
What you'll need
- 10+ years of relevant experience, including significant product management experience in payments/fintech/financial infrastructure.
- Deep experience owning platform or infrastructure products (APIs, payment processing, settlement, routing, developer-facing capabilities).
- Ability to define product strategy and lead complex initiatives across multiple teams.
- Analytical/technical fluency using payment performance, reliability, and operational data for investment decisions.
- Track record delivering measurable improvements (reliability, success rates, latency, scalability, operational efficiency, or customer outcomes).
- Ability to evaluate complex technical and business trade-offs and translate them into product decisions and long-term investment priorities.
- Strong cross-functional influence and communication with Engineering, Compliance, Operations, and commercial stakeholders.
