Principal Product Validation Engineer

Overview

Cadence is hiring an experienced IP / SoC Verification Engineer to join its product validation team.

What you'll do

• Develop testbenches, create tests and execute them
• Debug simulation failures and protocol issues
• Drive functional, code and assertion coverage closure
• Collaborate with design, architecture and validation teams
• Support regression, reviews and verification sign-off

What you'll need

• 7-12 years of experience in IP / SoC Verification
• Strong hands-on experience with SystemVerilog and UVM
• Experience with one or more high-speed protocols
• Good understanding of SoC fundamentals
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• MS in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering with 7+ years of experience, or BE/BTech in Electrical/Computer/Electronics Engineering
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with teamwork and collaboration skills
• Ability to build close working relationships with customer peers and management
• Work effectively across functions and geographies

Nice to have

• Low-power verification knowledge (UPF / CPF)
• Scripting skills (Python / Perl / Shell)
