Principal Secure SDLC engineer

Overview

Principal Secure SDLC engineer responsible for leading and mentoring cross-functional development teams focused on secure software development lifecycle and complex infrastructure/software solutions.

What you'll do

• Lead and participate in cross-functional development teams.
• Analyze complex, cross-functional business requirements.
• Design complex solutions for others to code.
• Prepare, execute, and oversee unit testing.
• Set team strategy and direction and represent the team to senior management and customers.
• Lead secure software development, cloud security, and infrastructure automation solutions.
• Consult with teams/customers/vendors on complex issues and mentor others.

What you'll need

• Minimum 12 years of related experience (or 10 years with a Master’s degree) plus a technical Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 7+ years writing code using languages/tools including Java, C, C++, C#, VB.Net, SQL Server/Oracle, and testing tools.
• Experience with multiple full release cycles.
• Advanced understanding of modern software development methodologies and tools/SCM.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools.
• Strong scripting/programming skills (Python, Bash, Go examples given).
• Expertise in secure software development, cloud security, and infrastructure automation; proficiency with network security, identity management, and access controls.

• Work mode: Onsite, primarily working from an HPE office.
