Principal Specialist Sales Engineer, Data Security - SLED

Overview

Principal Specialist Sales Engineer responsible for supporting Data Security sales initiatives for SLED customers. The role partners with sales teams to translate customer requirements into solutions, lead evaluations, and guide prospects toward successful outcomes.

What you'll do

• Create technical product presentations for prospective customers.
• Gather technical requirements and align proposed solutions to customer needs.
• Lead product evaluations.
• Configure products for customer requirements.
• Design evaluation test plans with customers.
• Guide evaluations to successful outcomes.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of pre-sales experience.
• 3+ years selling security or networking solutions in direct or high-touch environments.
• BSCS or equivalent with extensive experience as a sales engineer or systems integrator.
• Experience with data protection and web-related technologies.
• Experience working in a matrix role with broader go-to-market teams.
• Experience in the commercial or high-velocity segment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Zscaler or competitive data protection solutions.
• Understanding of SaaS technologies.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance for the relevant geography.
• Experience working with broader go-to-market and partner ecosystems.

• Remote role in the USA.
• Base salary range: $175,728–$251,250 USD yearly.
