Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer, Enterprise - Grand Rapids

Overview

Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to serve as a technical expert during the enterprise sales process, tailoring Everpure solutions to customer needs.

What you'll do

• Understand what drives customers’ business and their decision-making.
• Connect Everpure and ecosystem technology to measurable customer business outcomes.
• Collaborate with sales, specialists, and channel partners to deliver a holistic customer strategy.
• Lead technical evaluations, benchmarks, and system configuration activities.
• Capture customer requirements and translate business needs into solutions.
• Create and deliver technical product and architecture presentations for customer/prospect wins.
• Stay current on competitive landscape and ensure materials reflect differentiated solutions.

What you'll need

• Pre-sales experience required; 5 or more years of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting sales of enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to enterprise accounts (preferred).
• Deep understanding of multi-tier client/server and web-based computing architectures and design.
• Knowledge of modern web architecture concepts (plus; e.g., LAMP stack, scale-out vs scale-up, AWS well-architected, microservices).
• Experience converting new prospects into clients and contributing to RFP/RFQ/RFI responses.
• Strong knowledge of storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN.
• Experience with Linux and NFS file systems and a Linux distributed network environment.

Details

• Location: Remote (Michigan).
• Annual base salary range: $141,400–$212,100 USD.
