Overview

Principal Specialist Sales Engineer responsible for supporting Data Security sales across commercial and emerging markets. The role translates customer requirements into solutions, leads evaluations, and guides prospects toward successful outcomes.

What you'll do

• Create technical product presentations for prospective customers.
• Gather technical requirements from customers.
• Align proposed solutions with customer goals and needs.
• Lead product evaluations and custom configurations.
• Design evaluation test plans with customers.
• Guide evaluations to successful outcomes.
• Partner with sales teams on strategic opportunities.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of pre-sales experience.
• 3+ years selling security or networking solutions in direct or high-touch environments.
• BSCS or equivalent qualification.
• Experience with data protection and web-related technologies.
• Experience working in a matrix role with broader GTM teams.
• Curiosity and active exploration of AI tools.
• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with Zscaler or competitive data protection solutions.
• Understanding of SaaS technologies.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance for the relevant geography.
• Experience working with broader GTM and partner ecosystems.

• Remote in the United States.
• Full-time position.
• Base salary: $170,625–$243,250 USD yearly, excluding commission, bonus, equity, and benefits.
