Overview

Principal Specialist - ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications and workflows.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain applications and workflows on the ServiceNow platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver solutions.
• Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, and HR Service Delivery.
• Implement integrations with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs and secured authentication.
• Design and implement automated workflows and streamline business processes.
• Document technical customizations, configurations, and processes.
• Execute ServiceNow upgrades and service packs, including testing and readiness management.

What you'll need

• 5+ years’ experience as a ServiceNow developer.
• 2+ years’ experience supporting the ServiceNow platform, including debugging and root cause analysis.
• Skilled interaction with subject matter experts (SMEs), stakeholders, business analysts, and internal customers.
• Experience with JavaScript, Angular JS, and Service Portal widget scripting.
• Experience developing and implementing ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, and HRSD.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and their implementation in ServiceNow.

Nice to have

• Experience with Virtual Agent, Agent Workspace, UI Builder, and Platform Analytics.
• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other Agile software development methodologies.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• CIS - ITSM and/or any other products.
