Overview

Principal Statistical Programmer for sponsor-dedicated work. Fully remote roles available in the UK or South Africa only.

What you'll do

• Use SAS (or other software) to develop programming code for summary tables, data listings, graphs, and derived datasets.
• Ensure outputs meet quality standards and project requirements.
• Perform validation programming and resolve discrepancies with programmers, biostatisticians, and project team members.
• Follow SOPs, work instructions, and relevant regulatory guidelines (e.g., ICH).
• Maintain complete project documentation for testing and verification/quality control to support inspection readiness.
• Act as the lead statistical programmer, directing programming activities and monitoring progress.
• Serve as a technical expert resource for complex programming questions and, as needed, for CDISC and industry/regulatory requirements.

What you'll need

• Undergraduate degree in a scientific or statistical discipline (or equivalent education plus demonstrated programming experience).
• Extensive SAS (or other required software) programming experience, preferably in a clinical trial environment.
• Knowledge and experience using CDISC Standards for regulatory agency requirements.
• Experience in submissions to a regulatory agency (preferred).
• Experience mentoring others in clinical trial process and CDISC Standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
