Process Data Engineer

Overview

Process Data Engineer responsible for developing data engineering solutions and enabling analytics across manufacturing sites in a GxP environment.

What you'll do

• Design, analyze, and implement manufacturing data-driven solutions.
• Enable process trending, modelling, real-time, and predictive analytics.
• Develop and maintain scalable AWS and Databricks data pipelines.
• Identify technical issues, solve problems, and escalate appropriately.
• Build efficient, scalable digital products and platforms.
• Guide business partners through complex technical changes and implementations.
• Improve data models supporting business intelligence tools and dashboards.

What you'll need

• Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, technical or natural science focused on IT, or equivalent.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Have strong expertise in data modelling and database technologies including Databricks, Oracle, or MongoDB.
• Understand batch-based manufacturing processes and shop-floor systems.
• Understand Agile/SCRUM methodologies and engineering practices such as DevSecOps, source control, and automated testing.
• Communicate effectively in English with cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Experience with Biovia Discoverant, Simca Online, PAS-X Savvy, or Siemens gPROMS.
• Experience in a highly regulated pharmaceutical or chemical industry.
• Experience with AWS services including S3, EC2, or Terraform.
• Experience with Computer Systems Validation GAMP or data science workflows.
