Process Engineer for Pick & Place Programing and ESD

Overview

Process Engineer focused on Pick & Place programming, NPI/engineering-change implementation, MES integration, and ESD compliance in manufacturing.

What you'll do

• Ensure manufacturing process compliance with legal, safety, engineering, customer, and Bosch process requirements.
• Handle Pick & Place programming, NC data generation, and DGS/SIPLACE-based machine setup and troubleshooting.
• Implement new products and engineering changes via layout updates, supplier changes, depopulation, and placement/polarity validation.
• Optimize product allocation across SMT lines based on technical feasibility and customer requirements.
• Ensure machine integration with MES for production control and traceability.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions using 8D, 5 Whys, and RCCA.
• Conduct ESD audits, measurements, report reviews, and corrective actions while training teams on ESD controls.

What you'll need

• B.E. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Mechatronics.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Automotive electronics manufacturing industry.
• Pick & Place process and programming expertise.
• ESD knowledge, including ANSI/ESD S20.20.
• Knowledge of SMT components, package characteristics, placement requirements, and feeder/nozzle selection.
• Knowledge of MES and manufacturing process understanding.
• Awareness of IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-7351) and IATF 16949 / ISO 9001.
