Process-I&C Engineer

Overview

Process-I&C Engineer working in Arcadis’ Global Excellence Centre, specializing in instrumentation & controls design, development, and inspection for life-science and related facilities.

What you'll do

• Review P&IDs with Process and Mechanical Engineers.
• Develop Instrument Index, I/O List, and instrument & automated valve datasheets.
• Perform technical bid evaluation and review vendor drawings.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for I&C interfaces with other disciplines.
• Review and guide 2D/3D design drawings per project requirements, codes, specifications, and procedures.
• Participate in multi-discipline coordination and clash checking.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation or related field.
• 4 to 8 years of I&C and Automation design experience in process industries.
• Familiarization with norms and standards related to instrumentation engineering.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and MS Project).
• Technical and quality focus.
• Good planning, organizational, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in Pharmaceutical/life science industries (preferred).
• Environmental monitoring system (EMS) experience (will be an added advantage).
