Process Improvement Analyst, Specialist (Agile Coach)

Overview

Lead complex or large process improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean and Agile to identify, analyze and improve business processes, while applying structured change management to ensure adoption with minimal operational disruption.

What you'll do

• Develop and apply process definition, improvement and design methodologies to improve quality, reduce costs, increase efficiency and productivity, and increase customer satisfaction.
• Leverage technical expertise to coach other process improvement crew through initiatives.
• Concatenate process improvement data and use key metrics to measure outcomes.
• Manage process improvement initiatives from inception through implementation, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Define scope and requirements, establish timelines, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Develop documentation supporting analysis and improvement, including business requirements, functional specifications, process maps, and gap/problem analyses.
• Develop and manage effective working relationships with internal clients (primarily senior leaders) and key stakeholders.
• Support the development of training and/or change management materials and activities for new processes and procedures.
• Coordinate follow-up meetings for project teams using process improvement tools to ensure work is completed and improvements are maintained.
• Plan and implement quality assurance and compliance processes.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
• Apply change management methodologies, communication planning, organizational readiness assessments, and stakeholder analyses to ensure smooth adoption of new processes.
• Monitor implementation of change management to minimize disruption to business operations.
• Evaluate business processes to identify when system or software changes should be initiated.
• Act as a change agent, driving adoption of best practices within the IT organization.
• Influence, coach, and develop senior leaders in the effective use of agility, mindset, culture, processes, and tools to improve efficiency and value delivery.
• Apply professional coaching expertise to strengthen leadership capability and development in alignment with New Ways of Leading.
• Lead behavioral and ways-of-working transformation across a large business unit of approximately 100-200 people or a small to medium-sized business.
• Lead medium to large Agile program delivery with a program value of approximately 5M-10M.
• Lead, influence, coach, and develop a group of coaches to deliver defined capability uplift priorities.

What you'll need

• Minimum 8 years of experience in business process improvement, operational excellence, or change management.
• Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech/B.A./B.Sc.) in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, project management, and interpersonal skills to support cross-functional initiatives.
• Ability to lead end-to-end improvement projects, foster stakeholder engagement, and drive sustainable change through structured methodologies and influence.

Nice to have

• Graduate degree.
• Good to have skills: process mapping, stakeholder analysis, change enablement, communication planning, data-driven decision making, and familiarity with enterprise tools for documentation and collaboration.
• Preferred certifications: Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or above), Prosci Change Management, Agile or Scrum certifications.
• Foundation and advanced Agile and Lean certifications, such as Lean Six Sigma, LeSS, PSM/CSM, PSPO/CPO, AgilePM, ICP, or A-CSM.
• Advanced SAFe or scaled Agile certifications, such as SPC, RTE, LPM, or ICAgile Lean Portfolio Management (ICP-LPM).
• Foundation and advanced Agile coaching certifications, such as CTC, CEC, ICP-CAT, ICP-ATF, ICP-ACC, or ICE-AC.
• Leadership and organizational coaching certifications, such as ICF, IECL, CRR Global, or ORSC.
