Overview

Process Improvement Engineer focused on tolling process excellence with an agro-chemical/chemical environment background. The role supports technology transfer, continuous improvement, process safety, and standardization across tolling manufacturing sites.

What you'll do

• Manage technology transfer to partners or within FMC as part of the tolling network.
• Develop and deliver continuous improvement projects for process/chemistry, yield, sustainability, and capacity/cost outcomes.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting and ensure best technology solutions are implemented across tolling sites.
• Support Process Safety Management and cyclical Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) by aligning Process Safety Information (PSI) and PHA processes.
• Lead or participate in Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) for significant safety, quality, or manufacturing failures.
• Provide on-site support during commissioning, pre-startup safety review, trial production, optimization, and validation.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience in a chemical environment with reactive chemistry process experience.
• Good knowledge of equipment design, scale-up, troubleshooting, and project management skills.
• Strong safety orientation in OSHA and PSM.
• Demonstrated commitment to personal safety and environmental issues.
• Experience presenting in informal and formal training settings.
• Knowledge of quality assurance programs or statistical quality control.
• Interest/plus: Lean six sigma certification.
