Procurement Officer

Overview

Procurement Officer to support fleet operations by executing timely and accurate procurement activities for vessels worldwide.

What you'll do

• Execute procurement activities aligned to vessel schedules to avoid avoidable delays.
• Raise and manage purchase orders, quotations, and order follow-ups.
• Coordinate with suppliers on delivery status, documentation, and issue resolution.
• Support cost control by obtaining competitive quotations and identifying inconsistencies.
• Resolve routine and urgent supply issues and escalate where required.
• Monitor order and invoice status to ensure accuracy and timely processing.

What you'll need

• 2–4 years maritime procurement or purchasing experience.
• Exposure to vessel operations, spares, and logistics.
• Experience with procurement systems (BASSnet or similar preferred).
• Strong organisational and follow-up discipline.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
