Procurement Operations Associate

Overview

Work as a Procurement Operations Associate supporting tactical and transactional procurement processes, supplier setup, procurement applications and efficient purchasing transactions.

What you'll do

• Go beyond processing purchase orders at lower costs to help clients reap savings and value from goods and services used in day-to-day business operations.
• Identify needs and find and qualify suppliers.
• Request proposals, negotiate with suppliers, contract delivery and analyze results.
• Analyze and design best practices for tactical and transactional procurement processes.
• Plan implementation based on understanding of technologies involved and best practice process output measures.
• Provide setup and ongoing maintenance of suppliers, catalog content, user authorization data and procurement applications.
• Help maximize compliance and provide efficient and effective transactions.
• Solve routine problems largely through precedent and referral to general guidelines.
• Work as an individual contributor as part of a team with a predetermined, focused scope of work.

What you'll need

• BBA, BCom or BCA qualification.
• 1 to 3 years of experience.
• Primary skill: Procurement Support - P1.
• Ability to work with detailed to moderate level of instruction on daily work tasks and detailed instruction on new assignments.
