Overview
Support procurement operations across multiple commodities and technologies by executing procurement strategies, collaborating with internal and external partners, managing supplier activities, and improving procurement processes.
What you'll do
- Provide procurement support across multiple simple-to-complex commodities and specific technologies.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners, including finance and legal, to meet business objectives and ensure control and compliance requirements across businesses.
- Perform assigned tasks and apply experience to align individual work with overall strategy using discretion and judgment.
- Collaborate with teams to maintain and enhance current operations and processes.
- Execute process improvements.
- Participate in supplier selection activities.
- Lead activities for less complex domains when applicable.
- Assess the supply base of the category.
- Negotiate contracts with low-risk suppliers.
- Engage with low-complexity suppliers.
- Manage day-to-day operations of low-complexity suppliers when applicable.
- Execute standard risk mitigation, business continuity, cost management, and operations strategies.
- Identify common contract risk areas.
What you'll need
- First level university degree or equivalent experience.
- Typically 0-2 years of experience in a procurement or supply chain function.
- Developed understanding of procurement processes.
- Mastery in English and the local language.
- Demonstrated analytical and technical aptitude.
- Good business application skills.
- Developed communication skills.
- Basic understanding of corporate compliance.
- Basic project management skills.
Nice to have
- Programming skills, including SQL.

- Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
- Hybrid work arrangement with an average requirement of 2 days per week from an HPE office.
