Procurement Practice Associate

Overview

Support indirect purchasing and tactical sourcing activities for customers through a Procurement Operations center. The role involves managing purchase transactions, supplier performance, compliance, and procurement improvements.

What you'll do

• Provide day-to-day buying and tactical sourcing services.
• Support analysts and specialists with complex tactical issues.
• Apply tactical sourcing to generate savings on non-routine purchases.
• Execute purchases in line with Procurement Operations Playbook standards.
• Manage compliance issues with customer stakeholders and escalate systematic issues.
• Ensure purchase orders meet customer quality and timeliness requirements.
• Develop category knowledge and support special team projects.

What you'll need

• 1 to 3 years of experience.
• Any graduation or a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the end-to-end tactical procurement process.
• Experience with quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Proficiency with Excel and Access.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Project management skills.

Nice to have

• Procurement experience.
• FAR-based purchasing experience.
• SAP experience.
• Exposure to procurement operations, purchase order processing, contracting, and supplier invoicing.
