Prodops Engineer 3

Overview

Support and stabilize large-scale production systems as a Production Operations Engineer focused on incident management, monitoring, site reliability, automation, and customer-facing communications in a 24/7 environment.

What you'll do

• Manage critical and high-severity production incidents end to end.
• Lead incident response calls during assigned shifts.
• Improve MTTR, MTTA, alert quality, and operational stability.
• Perform root cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Monitor systems and proactively detect production issues.
• Automate operational tasks using Go, Python, Shell, or Perl.
• Maintain dashboards, alerts, runbooks, SOPs, and disaster recovery processes.

What you'll need

• At least 6 years of experience in Production Operations, SRE, or Cloud Reliability roles.
• Experience leading major incidents in customer-facing systems.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, Kubernetes, and cloud environments.
• Experience mentoring engineers and driving reliability initiatives.
• Hands-on expertise with Docker and Helm.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
