Overview
Senior Systems Engineer responsible for supporting secure, scalable Linux platforms and enterprise infrastructure. The role focuses on Linux administration, automation, virtualization, containers, troubleshooting, and platform operations.
What you'll do
- Support and troubleshoot RHEL, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, and related Linux platforms.
- Develop and maintain automation with Ansible, Python, and Bash.
- Support Linux workloads on VMware, OpenShift Virtualization, and container platforms.
- Perform root cause analysis across operating system, compute, storage, network, monitoring, and automation layers.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, security, and application teams.
- Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Participate in weekly rotational 24x7 on-call engineering support.
What you'll need
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience, according to the role title and preferred qualifications.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or computer-related field, or equivalent experience paths stated in the qualifications.
- Experience with Linux administration, troubleshooting, patching, performance analysis, and lifecycle support.
- Experience with VMware, OpenShift Virtualization, Linux containers, SELinux, and Docker.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Bash, Python, and Ansible.
- Knowledge of LVM, SAN-NAS, TCP-IP networking, monitoring, disaster recovery, compliance, and high availability.
Nice to have
- RHCSA, RHCE, Ansible, OpenShift, or cloud certification.

- Location: Bengaluru, India.
- Hybrid role with office attendance expected 2–3 set days per week.
- No travel is required.
