Product Design Lead - Design System

Overview

Lead a small team of product designers while contributing hands-on to scalable, accessible, user-centred design solutions for fintech products. Partner with cross-functional teams to execute design strategy and improve user experiences.

What you'll do

• Lead and manage a small team of product designers.
• Mentor designers through critiques, coaching, and skill development.
• Manage project timelines, roadmaps, and design workflows.
• Contribute directly to key product design projects.
• Partner with product managers, engineers, and executives on design solutions.
• Use research, usability testing, analytics, and behavioural insights to improve designs.
• Champion design systems, atomic design, accessibility, and inclusive design.

What you'll need

• Portfolio showing design-team leadership and end-to-end product design across platforms.
• Experience leading and developing design teams.
• Expertise in UX/UI, interaction design, and user research.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to translate product goals into scalable, user-centric solutions.
• Experience managing design workflows, tools, and operational processes.
• Experience in fintech or SaaS and understanding of financial products, compliance, and security.
