Sr. Software Engineer II / Tech lead, External Platform (Poland, Remote, B2B)

Overview

Lead technical direction and delivery for external platform capabilities supporting reporting, enterprise administration, developer and agent platforms, or business-critical infrastructure. Build and operate customer-facing systems across multiple application tiers while guiding an engineering team.

What you'll do

• Lead technical discussions and identify gaps in the telematics data platform.
• Influence roadmap direction and recommend technical solutions.
• Collaborate across engineering teams on designs and downstream product impacts.
• Ship and refine customer-facing features based on feedback.
• Deliver full-stack features across frontend, backend, and mobile tiers.
• Maintain production systems and provide operational support.
• Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive engineering team.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience building and operating complex enterprise systems.
• Strong system design judgment covering boundaries, dependencies, failure modes, performance, and safe production changes.
• Experience owning critical systems or coordinating delivery across services and teams.
• Ability to improve engineers’ effectiveness through mentoring and design reviews.
• Extensive use of AI in engineering, including investigations and design exploration.
• Ability to turn partially defined challenges into technical direction and measurable outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience with customer-facing web and mobile workflow applications.
• Experience in reporting, enterprise administration, developer platforms, billing, or full-stack product development.
• Experience with Go, GraphQL, TypeScript, React, or React Native.
