Product Engineer

Overview

Product Engineer focused on agile delivery of product features, translating business requests into developer-ready user stories and acceptance criteria.

What you'll do

• Maintain, prioritize, and groom the product backlog using Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Translate business requests into technical user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Define and map data flows, logic dependencies, and database needs for new features.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, refinement, and retrospectives.
• Write functional SQL queries to analyze data, investigate bugs, and validate data integrity.
• Coordinate UAT, write functional testing scenarios, and verify changes before production deployment.

What you'll need

• Experience in SQL, including SELECTs, JOINs, subqueries, and data filtering.
• Ability to query relational databases such as SQL Server and Oracle.
• Foundational understanding of the .NET framework (.NET Core / .NET 5+ / C#) and web/app/API structure.
• Baseline knowledge of Scrum or Kanban principles.
• Strong communication to translate technical dependencies for business users and requirements for developers.
