Overview
Lead the planning, development, implementation and optimization of JLL’s events, social media and creative art technology ecosystem. The role focuses on platforms including Cvent, Sprout Social, Everyone Social and creative technology tools, using technology and AI to enhance event experiences, social engagement, content creation and operational efficiency.
What you'll do
- Lead planning, development and implementation of events and social media technology solutions.
- Define and prioritize the product backlog for the events and social technology stack.
- Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap integrated with the broader marketing technology landscape.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies, particularly AI applications for event management, social listening, content creation and employee advocacy.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies and AI-powered tools to improve event experiences, social presence and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with event marketing, corporate communications, social media and creative marketing teams to identify technology needs and strategic opportunities.
- Gather stakeholder requirements and translate them into actionable user stories for development teams and vendor partners.
- Manage and optimize Cvent across registration, attendee management, virtual or hybrid experiences and post-event analytics.
- Manage Sprout Social for social publishing, community management, listening and performance analytics.
- Drive the employee advocacy strategy through management and growth of Everyone Social.
- Ensure Copy.ai delivers consistent content quality, brand voice and output formats for content marketing and localization.
- Implement AI features including AI-powered social listening, generative AI for social copy and AI-driven recommendations for event attendees.
- Manage user roles, permissions and licenses across the events and social technology stack.
- Ensure data integrity and consistent data flows between platforms, including Cvent to CRM and Aragon to Profile Management Tool.
- Own asset compliance, metadata maintenance and taxonomy alignment for the Creative Art technology stack.
- Manage vendor and technology partner relationships, product roadmaps and JLL’s strategic needs.
- Develop and maintain documentation for event, social media and creative art systems and processes.
- Provide technical guidance, training, governance and best practices on core platforms.
- Champion effective and ethical use of AI in social media, event marketing and creative art tools.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in marketing technology, with direct experience managing event technology, social media management platforms or creative tools.
- Strong understanding of corporate event marketing principles and modern social media strategies.
- Direct proficiency with enterprise-level platforms such as Cvent, Sprout Social, Copi.ai, Synthesia or similar event management, social media and creative tools.
- Strong interest in and understanding of AI and machine learning applications in social media, marketing and content creation and management.
- Strong understanding of asset metadata and taxonomy.
- Experience with system integrations, particularly connecting event or social platforms to CRM and marketing automation systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive insights from social, event and creative tool usage data.
- Strong project management abilities.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical marketing, creative and events stakeholders.
- Proficiency in building technical user stories for developers and vendors.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to align technology solutions with event, communication and content creation objectives.
- Adaptability and a passion for learning new technologies, especially in the social, creative and AI space.
- Strong attention to detail regarding data quality, user experience and brand consistency.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems to improve efficiency and results.
- Initiative to drive change management and communication efforts as product roadmaps evolve and features are enhanced or introduced.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Certifications in Cvent, Sprout Social or other relevant marketing or content technologies, such as Agile.
- Experience with employee advocacy programs and platforms like Everyone Social.
- Knowledge of social listening analytics and reporting beyond standard platform metrics.
- Direct exposure to AI-powered content tools and proficiency in gathering and analyzing data to produce content performance analytics.
- Experience with API integrations.
