Product Manager – Risk Products

Overview

Lead Xendit's risk product suite across merchant onboarding, transaction fraud prevention, and credit risk models. Lead a dedicated risk engineering and data science squad and build scalable infrastructure that minimizes financial loss while providing a seamless experience for legitimate merchants and buyers across Southeast Asia.

What you'll do

• Own, iterate, and deliver the data-driven product roadmap for risk infrastructure.
• Prioritise across fraud, onboarding, and credit pillars based on business impact.
• Continuously monitor chargeback rates, fraud false-positives, and onboarding cycle time.
• Manage real-time risk engines and machine learning models for payments and portfolio monitoring.
• Manage chargeback and dispute resolution workflows across all payment channels.
• Ensure clear, auditable outcomes for merchants and Xendit.
• Manage lending and settlement risk models to assess and mitigate financial exposure related to merchant payout cycles and transactional settlements.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of Product Management experience, specifically within Fintech, Payments (specially cards acquiring), or Risk domains.
• A track record of driving roadmap and execution for cross-functional squads (engineers, data, commercial) through influence rather than formal authority.
• Strong analytical skills to independently query data.
• Ability to translate complex metrics into product decisions.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Credible, hands-on expertise in at least two of the following: Payments fraud prevention and continuous transaction/portfolio monitoring; Dispute Management and chargeback resolution across payment channels; Credit risk assessment, lending models, and merchant settlement risk, including familiarity with related regulatory considerations.
