Product Owner

Overview

Own product requirements and enhancements by translating customer needs and market requirements into clear product, business, and technical requirements. Support product development from planning and prioritization through delivery and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Understand customer needs and market requirements and translate them into product requirements and enhancements.
• Define and prioritize product requirements, user stories, and functional specifications in collaboration with business and technical teams.
• Provide strong technical and business understanding of Apache Kafka architecture and its application in enterprise solutions.
• Work hands-on with Kafka topics, connectivity with directory servers, and integration with external parties and systems.
• Create and validate data models and data mappings across multiple source systems.
• Translate Kafka and integration requirements into clear and actionable requirements for product and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, Project, and Service Delivery teams to ensure solutions align with customer and business needs.
• Lead and coordinate Agile teams and support requirements through the complete product development lifecycle.
• Support product planning, prioritization, delivery timelines, and continuous product improvements.

What you'll need

• Experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Technical Business Analysis, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Apache Kafka, Kafka architecture, topics, and integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka-based integrations and external system connectivity.
• Strong experience in data modeling, data mapping, and working with multiple source systems.
• Good understanding of event-driven architecture and enterprise data integration.
• Ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear business and product requirements.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to ensure the business architecture and technical solution meet customer requirements.
