Product Owner

Overview

Product Owner role responsible for business/systems analysis, defining and prioritizing user stories, and managing the product backlog in an agile environment.

What you'll do

• Conduct business and systems analysis and lead software/process design changes.
• Interface regularly with Product Management to align on overall vision.
• Negotiate scope with Product Management and set priorities using estimates/feasibility.
• Create user stories and acceptance tests for a single sprint and prioritize them by business value.
• Work with UX to turn requirements into annotated wireframes.
• Audit product development to ensure requirements are followed and communicate requirements to development.
• Assist testers and support personnel to determine system problems.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in BE/B.Tech/BCA/MCA (Computer).
• 5 to 8 years of Agile Product Owner/Business Analyst experience.
• Solid analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with Building Automation/Building Management/Building Efficiency domain.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology.
• Estimation techniques using story points.
• Good verbal and written communication in English.

Nice to have

• Testing experience.
• Agile Scrum delivery experience in a full-time Product Owner role.
• Familiarity with web-based applications.
• Strong business writing and presentation skills.
• Exceptional communication via phone calls and email.
