Product Owner

Overview

Product Owner responsible for owning and prioritizing an Agile squad backlog and translating business/regulatory needs into deliverable requirements.

What you'll do

• Own and prioritize the squad backlog aligned to the SIS roadmap.
• Define user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Translate business and regulatory needs into actionable requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and Architecture to deliver solutions.
• Support Agile ceremonies by clarifying scope and removing blockers.
• Ensure delivery meets business goals and regulatory standards while balancing enhancements and technical improvements.

What you'll need

• 8+ years in capital markets, securities processing, or financial services.
• 3+ years as a Product Owner, Lead BA, or similar in Agile teams.
• Strong post-trade expertise (Clearance & Settlement, Reference Data, Books & Records, Account & Asset Servicing).
• Experience managing backlogs and defining user stories.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Understanding of system integrations, data flows, and messaging standards.
• Strong communication skills to work across global time zones.
