Overview
Own product discovery, definition, and delivery for Xplor’s self-serve merchant portal used to view transactions and payouts, understand fees, pull reports, and manage merchant account and configuration.
What you'll do
- Own and evolve the portal strategy and roadmap across global markets.
- Define merchant-facing transactions, payouts, and reporting surfaces and statements.
- Ensure fees, deductions, and displayed money are transparent, accurate, and reconciled with platform data.
- Build merchant self-serve flows for account details, users, permissions, and settings without support tickets.
- Own the configuration portal used by the BMS team for merchant setup and maintenance.
- Embed AI tools across the product lifecycle to accelerate PRDs, prototyping, analytics, and stakeholder updates.
- Drive agile delivery with engineering/design/data using PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
What you'll need
- 3-4 years of product management experience.
- At least 2 years building B2B SaaS, dashboard, portal, or self-serve products.
- Experience presenting complex/financial data clearly to non-technical users.
- Experience improving adoption, engagement, or support-deflection metrics.
- Comfort using product analytics to understand behavior and measure impact.
- Payments literacy to represent transactions, payouts, and fees accurately (or ability to ramp quickly).
- Hands-on proficiency with AI productivity tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or equivalent) with demonstrable examples.
Nice to have
- Experience with merchant/seller/customer-facing financial dashboards.
- Familiarity with payments concepts such as settlement, payouts, fees, and statements.
- Experience building self-serve support deflection and in-product help or guidance.
- Familiarity with design systems and accessibility standards.
- Experience building a unified experience on data from multiple upstream teams.
