Product Owner -Technology -VP

Overview

As a Technical Product Owner, you will maximize product value by defining/communicating product vision and managing delivery through backlog prioritization, roadmap execution, and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Define and communicate a clear product vision, goals, and priorities to delivery teams.
• Create, refine, and prioritize the product backlog while balancing trade-offs and delivering high-value features.
• Write user stories with detailed acceptance criteria and ensure dev teams have required information.
• Participate in Agile events including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and delivery teams to meet user/customer needs and deliver value.
• Gather customer feedback, use market research and KPIs to monitor performance, and iterate roadmap/backlog.
• Review and accept or reject sprint deliverables against agreed acceptance criteria.

What you'll need

• 16–20 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills to articulate vision and value.
• Hands-on experience with product management tools (Jira, Trello, ADO).
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with prioritization, execution, and problem-solving.
• Technical understanding of systems, dependencies, architecture constraints, and end-to-end flows.
• Analytical mindset to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Nice to have

• Hands-on skills in Java 8/11/17+, Spring Framework/Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with microservices architecture, Maven/Gradle, Hibernate/JPA, and integration technologies.
• Experience with cloud & container technologies, database technologies, DevOps/CI-CD, observability/monitoring, and security.
