Product Specialist - Controlled Environment

Overview

Product Specialist responsible for marketing and selling controlled environment products in an assigned geographic territory, working with the corresponding Laboratory Equipment Representative to identify and close sales opportunities.

What you'll do

• Market assigned controlled environment products in the assigned geographic territory to exceed pre-established territory forecasts.
• Train and partner with the corresponding Laboratory Equipment Representative to identify and close controlled environment sales opportunities.
• Promote the organization's breadth of product offerings on all sales calls to achieve maximum client solution opportunities and greater sales potential.
• Develop detailed business plans for the assigned geography to achieve required sales growth, reviewed quarterly with the District Sales Manager.
• Establish business relationships with architects, casework dealers and lab planners to grow the new construction opportunity pipeline.
• Consistently update the company CRM sales funnel reports of projected bookings to assist in monthly company sales forecasting and product build plans.
• Provide commitments of forecasted bookings on a monthly and quarterly basis and assume ownership of their accuracy.

What you'll need

• Minimum of 5 years of highly successful laboratory sales experience.
• Exceptional analytical capability and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with a bias for action.
• Excellent interpersonal and persuasive communication abilities.
• Substantiated capability to effectively negotiate and close business.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in the Life Sciences.
• Controlled environment sales experience.

Details

• Location: Remote, Massachusetts, USA; salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $83,300.00–$111,000.00.
• Work schedule: Standard (Mon-Fri).
• Approximately 50% travel.
• Eligible for variable annual bonus based on company, team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
