Programming Specialist

Overview

Programming Specialist (Data Programming) role at Labcorp in Bangalore, leading data management during study start-up and maintenance and acting as the programming SME for clinical data.

What you'll do

• Lead data management during start-up and act as data liaison between Clinical Data Management and other Labcorp departments and business units.
• Manage all client queries and lead process improvement activities.
• Create standard data transfer formats in compliance with client requests, internal processes and regulatory standards.
• Provide ongoing data management support during study maintenance and ensure uninterrupted client service.
• Record data transfer activities and maintain protocol portfolios to track workload and productivity.
• Work with Clinical Data Manager personnel on day-to-day activities as assigned.
• Act as SME and assist the manager with forecasting and planning of training.
• Train and mentor new hires on complex programming.
• Quality review team work for simple to moderate tasks.
• Triage work assessment and work allocation.
• Support as SME for training requirements.
• Lead the preparation and maintenance of metrics for the entire team.
• Maintain risk mitigation plan capabilities.
• Represent the team in department and organization level meetings.
• Act as programming expert in resolving complex programming activities.
• Provide inputs and feasibility checks for DTS preparation and review.
• Help with query resolution and reconciliation activities from stakeholders.
• Present the programming team as SME in client calls and audits/inspections.
• Conduct continuous knowledge transfer through sessions and training.
• Create a strong technical/programming back-up team member.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Technology.
• 9 years of experience in the clinical trials process and pharmaceutical industry.
• Programming skills, especially SQL.
• Customer service experience.
• Conversant with databases and database terminology.
• Ability to use standard Microsoft suite of software products.
• Strong technical aptitude.
• Strong organizational, planning and critical-thinking skills.
• Well-polished, inclusive and engaging written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a timely and professional manner under demanding conditions.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Life Science.
• 6 or more years of experience in programming languages and tools such as SQL and Informatica.

Details

• Location: Brigade Twin Tower, Bangalore, India.
• Rotating shifts: 5:30 am to 2:30 pm IST, or 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm IST.
• 5-day working model.
