Project Engineer 1

Overview

Project Engineer supporting the development, implementation, and ownership of WETS Deposition products and upgrades. The role coordinates simple projects and engineering change activities under guidance.

What you'll do

• Write standard change orders for status and material changes.
• Review and scope simple-to-medium upgrade and build-forward requests.
• Propose and implement solutions for as-built changes.
• Coordinate change-order implementation for approved obsolescence and end-of-life part replacements.
• Track project deliverables, progress, and change activities.
• Identify and resolve process deviations in simple bill-of-material and change actions.
• Collaborate with engineering and change analysts on change-order cut-ins.

What you'll need

• 3–5 years of experience with a bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or 1–3 years with a master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• B.E., B.Tech, M.E., or M.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of product lifecycle management systems such as PDM and ERP.
• Basic knowledge of project management tools and practices.
• Ability to track and report simple task progress.
• Ability to perform 3D modeling and assembly using a CAD package.
• Ability to apply Lam-specific processes and resolve simple process deviations.

Nice to have

• Experience in the semiconductor wafer fab equipment domain.
• Experience with capital equipment or related industries in subsystem or module design projects.
• Exposure to supplier coordination, manufacturing execution, quality task forces, or field issue implementation.
• Awareness of DFX, product safety, and quality or reliability workflows.
• Exposure to product configuration, option and variant management, and complex equipment bill-of-material structures.
