Wireless Technical Support Engineer

Overview

Onsite Wireless Technical Support Engineer responsible for troubleshooting networking issues, resolving customer escalations, and supporting wireless engineering projects.

What you'll do

• Triage and resolve customer support escalations from multiple inbound channels.
• Build and maintain Layer 2 and Layer 3 network testbeds.
• Reproduce customer issues and file tickets for identified bugs.
• Analyze logs and identify root causes.
• Work with developers to drive solutions.
• Provide status reports and participate in relevant meetings.
• Mentor less-experienced staff members.

What you'll need

• 2–4 years of experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking.
• Knowledge of 802.11 Wi-Fi standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and the local language.
• Ability to communicate product architectures and negotiate options with senior management.
