Project Engineer

Overview

Project Engineer – HVDC supports Control & Protection (C&P) execution for HVDC projects from engineering through commissioning.

What you'll do

• Coordinate and execute HVDC Control & Protection system activities for ongoing projects.
• Assist with coordination, review, and management of C&P design documents and related engineering deliverables.
• Coordinate with system, hardware, software/automation, commissioning, site, customers, and subcontractors.
• Participate in design reviews, customer meetings, and technical discussions.
• Track engineering progress and support closure of technical issues.
• Contribute to FAT, SAT, and commissioning preparation activities.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, technical standards, quality procedures, and EHS guidelines.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Control Engineering, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience.
• Understanding of power system protection principles.
• Understanding of control systems and SCADA/automation systems.
• Understanding of electrical system studies and interfaces.
• Familiarity with engineering documentation and project execution processes.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
