Project Engineer

Overview

Project Engineer overseeing and coordinating site execution of MEP works for timely delivery within time, cost, quality, safety, and coordination targets.

What you'll do

• Review HVAC, electrical, plumbing, medical gas, and fire-fighting design drawings and specifications for compliance.
• Supervise and monitor daily MEP installation works against approved drawings, quality, and timelines.
• Coordinate with architects, structural/civil teams, OEM vendors, and specialist contractors to resolve design/interface issues.
• Plan and witness pre-commissioning and commissioning for all MEP systems and ensure documentation, calibration, and validation.
• Maintain MEP progress reports, snag lists, material submittal logs, and as-built documentation.
• Support billing verification and change control related to MEP works.

What you'll need

• 5–10 years of execution and coordination experience for MEP systems in hospital or healthcare facility projects.
• Knowledge of NABH, ASHRAE, NFPA, and local healthcare infrastructure codes.
• Ability to liaise with clients, consultants, OEM vendors, and contractors.
• Commitment to quality assurance, infection control standards, and hospital safety/operational protocols.
• Proficiency in preparing technical reports, progress documentation, and material submittal reviews.
