Project Engineer Electrical and Instrumentation

Overview

Lead electrical and automation engineering for manufacturing capital projects at the Sricity site, covering new capacity expansion and existing-line projects. The role focuses on safe, reliable, efficient project execution from design through commissioning and handover.

What you'll do

• Lead electrical and automation scopes from concept and design through FAT/SAT, installation, commissioning, and handover.
• Design electrical systems and prepare bills of quantities for plant and capacity-expansion projects.
• Implement PLC, SCADA/HMI, drives, instrumentation, and industrial-network systems.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and risk registers.
• Coordinate contractors, system integrators, OEMs, and site engineering teams.
• Lead, coach, and develop electrical and automation technicians and engineers.
• Maintain electrical and automation documentation and ensure safety and standards compliance.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, automation/control engineering, mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• 5–6 years of progressive electrical and automation engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Strong PLC programming knowledge, including Rockwell or Siemens.
• Experience with SCADA/HMI, industrial networking, instrumentation, power distribution, motor control, MCC panels, and drives.
• Experience managing capital projects with electrical/automation scope above $500,000.
• Knowledge of process and equipment safety standards, including SIL and PL.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice to have

• FMCG or food and beverage manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of Batch process and Pack-ML standards.
