Project Engineer Lead

Overview

Lead the Non-Standard Requests workflow for WETS product lines, coordinating customer-specific engineering solutions from initial review through design approval and release.

What you'll do

• Review NSR submissions for completeness, accuracy, feasibility, and clear customer requirements.
• Coordinate scope, cost estimates, lead-time feasibility, and customer request dates.
• Finalize NSR design scope and drive design execution.
• Coordinate cross-functional engineering activities and design reviews.
• Release finalized customer-specific solutions.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders and internal engineering and operations teams.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with at least 5 years.
• Experience driving concurrent engineering projects involving fluid systems, fabricated components, and machined assemblies.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and drafting, including Creo or NX.
• Experience with sheet metal, plastic design, welding, tubing, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with product structuring, configuration or variant management, and complex bills of material.
• Knowledge of engineering change release processes, Teamcenter PLM, and PDM systems.
• Strong stakeholder collaboration, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Semiconductor capital equipment industry experience.
• Experience with SAP and Fiori applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
