Overview
Project Financial Analyst role supporting financial insight for international clinical trials in a CRO/pharmaceutical context. Remote working arrangements may be considered.
What you'll do
- Calculate revenue recognition using a Cost to Complete methodology and share project movement insights with senior management.
- Maintain complete and accurate project financial records in accordance with GAAP.
- Provide timely project information and margins to support Cost to Complete revenue recognition.
- Deliver project analysis for the Monthly Project Review Process to project teams and management.
- Identify issues affecting project results and profitability and propose workable solutions.
- Enter budgets and project information into financial accounting systems and analysis files for project coding and invoicing.
- Support internal/external audits and respond to audit queries; perform ad hoc analysis as needed.
What you'll need
- 2 years finance experience.
- 1 year experience as a project/financial analyst within a CRO or pharmaceutical company providing financial oversight for international clinical trials.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience.
- Competence in Microsoft Office with good knowledge of Excel and/or databases.
- Ability to communicate with key stakeholders across a global, matrixed organization.
- Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
