QA Automation Engineer

Overview

QA Automation Engineer role at Finastra, responsible for testing banking software applications and supporting production issues.

What you'll do

• Read and understand requirement and solution documents.
• Prepare and review test cases and test scenarios.
• Execute tests, report defects, and perform defect analysis and tracking until closure.
• Simulate and triage issues raised by customers.
• Address functional queries from various stakeholders.
• Follow the testing plan and schedule and adhere to quality processes.
• Provide production support whenever needed.

What you'll need

• 3-5 years of experience in testing software applications/packages in the banking domain.
• Knowledge of testing processes and activities.
• Knowledge of the Payment domain.
• Java, Selenium, Playwright.
• REST and SOAP APIs (Postman, SOAP UI).
• Oracle databases.

Nice to have

• GPP knowledge.
• Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, Git.
• IBM MQ, Apache Kafka.
