QA Engineer Int - UI, API and Manual testing (BYDS)

Overview

QA Engineer responsible for manual and automated testing of Java-based services and complex integrations across supply chain, order management, and warehouse management systems. The role focuses on message-driven workflows, data replication, API testing, and cross-system data consistency.

What you'll do

• Design and execute manual and automated test plans for Java-based services and integrations.
• Validate asynchronous message-driven workflows and processing pipelines.
• Test data replication and synchronization across source and target systems.
• Build and maintain API, integration, and data-consistency regression suites.
• Analyze root causes of data discrepancies.
• Track, document, prioritize, and verify defect fixes.
• Maintain production-like test environments and data sets.

What you'll need

• 3–5 years of professional QA or test engineering experience.
• Backend or integration testing experience beyond UI and manual testing.
• Experience testing message-oriented middleware, including queues, topics, and failure conditions.
• Experience testing asynchronous events, including duplicate and out-of-order messages.
• Experience validating data replication or CDC pipelines.
• Working SQL skills, preferably with Oracle, for source-to-target data validation.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.

Nice to have

• Oracle GoldenGate experience.
• Experience with TestComplete or similar UI and functional automation tools.
• Familiarity with ElectronJS applications.
