QA Engineer – Manual Testing (Automation Exposure)

Overview

Software QA Engineer (Manual Testing with Automation Exposure) for the Mumbai team (Goregaon East). You will design, plan, execute, document, and support testing for ISS applications and services.

What you'll do

• Perform manual, functional, and other types of testing.
• Review requirements and create, execute, and document test cases.
• Plan, design, and document test suites for underlying infrastructure.
• Implement, execute, and support delivering accurate test results on time.
• Report and track bugs in Jira.
• Troubleshoot and debug errors to find root cause and coordinate fixes and re-testing.
• Contribute to Java-based automation test case writing and automated test suite execution (about 20–30%).

What you'll need

• 4–7 years of manual & automation testing experience.
• BE/B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Experience with defect tracking systems (JIRA preferable).
• Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Java preferred).
• Experience interacting with RDBMS (SQL in MS SQL Server is a plus).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
