Quality Assurance Engineer

Overview

Quality Engineer to validate the quality and reliability of SigmaNEST, a CAD/CAM software product used by manufacturers.

What you'll do

• Create, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios for new features, enhancements, and regression testing.
• Validate SigmaNEST functionality against business and technical requirements.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing for Windows desktop applications.
• Ensure product releases meet quality standards and release readiness criteria.
• Identify, document, reproduce, and verify software defects throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and QA team members in Agile development, including sprint events.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Applications, or related technical discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and defect lifecycle management.
• Experience creating and executing manual test cases and test plans.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience testing CAD/CAM, manufacturing, engineering, or desktop software applications.
