Quality Engineer II

Overview

Quality Engineer II provides technical support for the quality function, working with internal teams to address issues affecting manufacturing.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain QA plans and process routings.
• Support quoting activities during process design, development, and implementation.
• Evaluate and support inspection processes using inspection aids and instruction guidelines.
• Develop and implement specialized training sessions for applicable functions.
• Review and maintain documentation files and systems for document storage and access.
• Review supplier/customer discrepancies and coordinate corrective/preventative action tracking.
• Provide defect trend analysis and support corrective action using SPC data and tracking packages.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Two years of related experience required.
• Knowledge and interface support for policies and procedures with special regard to ISO, EN4600, and GMP documentation.
• Ability to monitor departmental activities and provide technical/logistical guidance to quality engineering staff.
• Ability to interface with customers on quality issues as needed.
