Quality Engineer - Manufacturing process

Overview

Quality Engineer for manufacturing processes, focused on customer satisfaction and quality engineering activities for the Oragadam Facility.

What you'll do

• Drive continual quality improvements to meet manufacturing quality KPI targets.
• Maintain ISO 9001 quality system processes and procedures.
• Manage customer and third-party audits and ensure corrective/preventive actions close.
• Handle Stop Production/Hold Shipment orders and internal holds to completion.
• Lead customer FAT panel reviews, supporting timely issue resolution.
• Provide root-cause failure analysis and corrective action support to operations.
• Support continuous improvement using Design of Experiments (DOE) and process capability studies.

What you'll need

• B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in Quality Engineering.
• Strong command of English (oral and written).
• ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 internal/lead auditor certification.
• Exposure to Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience in industrial/manufacturing setups.
• Hands-on involvement in continuous improvement projects.

• Reports to QUALITY AND PROJECT TRANSFER MANAGER.
