Mechanical Simulation Engineer for R&D, focused on bushing design validation and evaluation using FEA.

What you'll do

• Perform mechanical simulations using FEA in ANSYS and/or COMSOL to validate bushing design.
• Iteratively analyze FEA controls and process parameters to improve simulation accuracy.
• Support engineering teams and bushing manufacturing units to simulate product operations and testing.
• Provide solutions to R&D and engineering teams based on design validation and product evaluation results.
• Use object-oriented programming and application builder in FEA software for digitalized product platforms.
• Prepare comprehensive simulation reports to communicate FEA results and evaluation.
• Coordinate with global R&D teams for innovation programs, trainings, and knowledge sharing.

What you'll need

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering with strong subject knowledge of FEA.
• 5+ years of industrial experience in product validation using mechanical simulations.
• High proficiency using mechanical module in a commercial FEA software (ANSYS or COMSOL).
• Experience with linear and nonlinear static, dynamic, and transient analyses.
• Knowledge of isotropic/orthotropic material properties and failure theories including elastoplastic analysis.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming and scripting languages like C++, Python, Java.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
