Overview

Senior Engineer/Assistant Manager and Fire Safety Officer (NaP/HSE) focused on emergency decision-making, fire safety management, and compliance to protect people and property.

What you'll do

• Make critical decisions during emergency situations to enable safe rescue and reduce property damage.
• Create fire safety management plans, emergency frameworks, and guidelines, and review procedures periodically.
• Supervise regular fire safety inspections and confirm fire and life safety systems are effective and ready to use.
• Conduct and manage training and awareness for employees, facility staff, and contractors, including drills and evacuation exercises.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for fire safety compliance and support during external emergencies.
• Supervise plant processes/activities to ensure legal and company guideline compliance for fire emergency systems.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Diploma in industrial safety or fire fighting course or any related course (desired).
• Authorized license from RTO for driving ambulance & fire vehicle.
• 5/6 years of experience in manufacturing industry including 3 years in an HSE function.
• Experience of driving emergency vehicle.
• Advanced knowledge of fire load calculation.
• Proficiency in emergency planning and disaster management techniques.
