RCM Payment Posting Specialist

Overview

Payment Posting Specialist joining ModMed's inaugural Seed Team in India, working closely with the RCM Automation Team and RCM Lab to demonstrate current workflows and test new processes.

What you'll do

• Post payments and reconcile cash accurately according to defined ModMed processes.
• Partner with Automation and RCM Lab teams to demonstrate existing workflows.
• Actively support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new processes, providing critical insights and observations.
• Process credit refunds following established protocols.
• Handhold and support newer team members to improve their functional knowledge, productivity, and quality.
• Perform self-audits to ensure all deliverables meet strict quality standards.
• Work closely with other RCM teams to share insights and align on instructions.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's Degree.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in RCM Payment Posting and related front-end functions (Credits, Rejections, etc.).
• Deep knowledge of Payment Posting, Credit Refunds, and Rejection processes.
• Ability to post payments from both Electronic and Paper Remits with 99% accuracy.
• Ability to work the India night shift for the first 2-3 months before transitioning to the day shift.
• Ability to meet all HIPAA and ModMed compliance standards.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Commerce.
• Quality certification, such as a Six Sigma Green Belt.
