React Frontend Engineer

Overview

React Frontend Engineer to build production UIs for the next-generation Transportation & Logistics Dispatch UI from scratch for weekly software demos.

What you'll do

• Build responsive, accessible React screens with TypeScript, Redux Toolkit, and MUI X DataGrid.
• Integrate frontend interfaces with backend APIs (CloudHub/OData/CHC) tied to SQL database workflows.
• Ship fully tested weekly releases using Playwright and axe-core for end-to-end quality and accessibility.
• Create dispatcher-focused UX such as drag-and-drop planning and real-time map synchronization.
• Work with performance-tuned data grids and complex, data-heavy UI patterns.
• Use AI-augmented development tools (e.g., Cursor) to accelerate development and test scaffolding.

What you'll need

• Experience building production React applications with TypeScript.
• Strong component architecture using composable, testable components with clean prop contracts and proper state management.
• Experience with data-heavy UIs including grids, tables, filters, server-side pagination, and real-time updates.
• Comfort with REST/OData API integration and debugging the request/response chain.
• CSS/styling proficiency for responsive layouts and consistent cross-browser rendering.
• Git workflow fluency including trunk-based development, feature branches, clean commit history, and PR reviews.
• Ability to collaborate closely with one other developer and an embedded generalist and ship weekly.
